Saltaire Festival 2008

The Saltaire Festival is now in its 6th year, taking place from Thursday 11th - Sunday 21st September. It's a community event offering music across two stages and more, street entertainment, stalls, displays, shows, and a carnival.

A number of acts are confirmed for the Piazza Stage. Playing on Saturday (Caroline Street Car Park 11am - 10pm) are:-
Achord, Salsa Como Loco, The Tempus, Bayou Gumbo, Badwolf, Wild Geese, Chantel McGregor Band, and Wild Hogs Rock & Roll Band.
Acts confirmed for Sunday 21st (Caroline Street Car Park 11am - 8pm) are:-
12 Bars From Mars, Hot Aire, Eddie Earthquake & Tremors, Blues Positive, The Hall Brothers, Last Orders, and Kwame D.

Other acts confirmed include RPM, Nick Watts, John Froud, Voicemale, Christine Quirk, John Ramsdin, Bradford Festival Choral Society, Doric String Quartet, Opera North, Michael Mallinson; Charlotte Nielson; R.Martin & Liam Junior, Helene, Spring, The Delvaux, Tim Keegan, The Short Stories, The Duke, Al Bridger & Friends + Charlie Winsom & The Conundrums, David James & Friends, Neil Garrett & Ian Dickinson, Dave Speight, North Country Boys, Mike & Andee Craig, Gloria, Chris Dinsdale & Steve Hulme, and a Junior Battle of the Bands.

The main part of the festival takes place in the Finale Weekend when there's a beer festival, continental street market, craft fair and Festival Club.
