last updated : Fri 2nd Apr 04 This is really a VW Owners Festival so lots of classic cars are expected to show up but there's real music appreciation with DJ John London hosting funky 70s/80s themes on Sunday night in Arena 2, and confirmed live performances from bands in Arena 3 with BlackBud (on Friday), Genghis Khant (Saturday), and Point Blank (on Sunday) as well as lots of comedy and a Chill Out zone open from 8pm until 4am. Big clubbing experiences are promised with laser shows, stilt walkers, dancers and trapeze artists. There's an Old skool house party, classic house and beats in Arena 1 on Friday night with Ian Mackenzie, Ben McGowan and Farley Jackmaster Funk; a Hard House Night on Saturday with Lisa Lashes, Tidy Boys, 3K, Ben Mcgowan and Steve Lid; and a Funky House night on Sunday with Mark Hamilton and Josh Wink. The main arena also houses one of the longest bars in Cornwall.
The site has all the usual facilities: a kid's play area, shop, cafe/take-away and amusements.
The ticket price includes one week's camping on site.
