Running since 1990, this is a family-friendly FREE event located this year in the grounds of the Royal Norfolk Hotel offers a variety of entertainment including live music on two stages, a procession, kids activities, carnival, world musicians, club stage, fringe events, music, craft and dance workshops, and other art.
This year the festival has moved to August and will be held on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August. The festival will culminate in one massive party for the town, for all ages and celebrating with a weekend of music, art, sound and colour.
Hugh Cornwell has been announced as the Sunday headliner, and joining him are a line-up of unsigned regional bands playing alongside some pro's who will be dropping in.
The line-up is as follows: Saturday Main Stage - Gary Grainger's All Stars, Blues Band, Deborah Bonham, The Difference, The Feel, Nakedium, The Golgi Apparatus, Dropzone, Soul Intention, Golden Boulder, Doppler Shift, Hymaglobin, Lauren Halliday, and Collyde. Sunday Main Stage - Hugh Cornwell's Band, Bigtopp, Fancy Toys, Graham Neil's Band of Wolves, Bognor's Big Swing Band, The Poopahs, Banjaxed, Jet black Heights, Fergie's Band, The Feel, Mark Handley, Rox Stars, and Roger Clayden's Classical Crew. Sunday Acoustic Stage - Fancy Dress Parade, Drum Workshop, Kim Slade, Arcangel Guitar, Drum Workshop, Ash and Chris, Like a Bob Dylan, TBA, Drum Workshop, and MC and Announcements.
