Roc-kus (formerly Twang) Festival will take place on Saturday 3rd May 2014 from 1pm until midnight at Longmeadow Arena of Dreams at Whitchurch Sports and Social Club in Whitchurch, Hampshire.

Line-up

The Beat, Dream Overkill, Catbollou, The Big Slur, Surfin Lungs, KTS, and Echotape are the first acts confirmed for 2014. Bands will appear on three ground level stages, an acoustic stage, plus a compere, band interviews, a bar, food and there will be entertaining stuff for kids.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults, and £9.50 for those aged 13-17 years. Those aged 12 years old or less can come to the event for free, but you don’t get into the main arena after 8.00pm because there is a limited capacity.

ALL profits go to local charities, and has provided a platform for dozens of local bands to showcase their talent to an appreciative local audience. Rockus is a not-for-profit social enterprise, run by a small dedicated team of Whitchurch volunteers, all for fun.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
