The three-day long Rock Ness offers an eclectic selection of bands in a beautiful location on the banks of Loch Ness near Inverness, in Scotland. Now in its sixth year the festival returns in 2011 from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June.

Line-up

Kasabian headline Rockness on Friday, The Chemical Brothers headline Saturday, and Paolo Nutini headlines Sunday, they are joined on the bill by Glasvegas, The Wombats, Two Door Cinema Club, Groove Armada presents Red Light, DJ Shadow, Mark Ronson (DJ set), Modeselektor, Magda, Jamie XX, Herve, Alex Metric, The Cribs, Frightened Rabbit, Laidback Luke, The Japanese Popstars, Nero, Derrick Carter, Smoke Fairies, Ivan Smagghe, Beardyman, We Are Scientists, Magnetic Man, Example, Bombay Bicycle Club, Sparrow and the Workshop, Afghan Raiders, D/R/U/G/S, Funeral Suits, Lissie, Katy B, Annie Mac, Erol Alkan, Zane Lowe, Brother, Boys Noize, Simian Mobile Disco, Fake Blood, DJ Yoda, Rob da Bank, Howard Marks, The Cuban Brothers, and more, with more still to be announced. Times

Rock Ness also enables festival goers to park and camp directly beside the Arena. Campsites will open at 10am on the Friday, and with the Nesstival area opening as normal in the afternoon and offering a diverse weekend of entertainment.
