Rock am Ring is Germany's most popular festival event. From Friday 6th to Sunday 8th June acts from the international live music scene appear at the Nurburgring in the Eifel mountains.
Metallica, Die Toten Hosen and Rage Against The Machine are this year's headliners. Other acts confirmed are The Verve, Queens Of The Stone Age, Manic Street Preachers, Paramore, Lostprophets, Serj Tankian, Jimmy Eat World, Chris Cornell, Coheed & Cambria, Jonathan Davis, Hot Chip, u.v.a, Sportfreunde Stiller, Nightwish, Motorhead, Babyshambles, Bullet For My Valentine, In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, The Hellacopters, Incubus, The Prodigy, HIM, Fettes Brot, Disturbed, Simple Plan, Kate Nash, The Cavalera Conspiracy, Justice, Bad Religion and Roisin Murphy. Further artists amongst over 85 bands performing on three stages will be announced shortly. Football fans will not have to miss out on the important Euro 2008 matches either. These will be shown on large screens in public viewing areas.
Earlybird tickets were on sale at last year's price. Now they are the full price of 135.00 Euros. This includes the advance booking fee, fees for camping and parking and the refundable waste deposit of 5.00 Euros. The Rock am Ring Festival has officially sold out, some tickets are still available as coach packages.
