Rise takes place from Saturday 10th to Saturday 17th December 2016 at Les 2 Alpes ski resort, in the French Alps.

The festival offers a week of skiing and snowboarding combined with bands and DJs and Europe’s largest skiable glacier.

Line-up

The 3,000 capacity event will host Kano, Seth Troxler, Metrik, Monki, My Nu Leng, Artful Dodger, Midland, Artwork, Bondax, Fred V and Grafix, Jackmaster, High Contrast, Skream, London Elektricity, Jackmaster, Blonde, Alex Boman, Artwork, Eton Messy DJs, The Goldenboy, Toyboy & Robin, Waverley, Etherwood, Metrik, S.P.Y, Lowqui, and Dynamite MC, with more acts to be announced.

Rise is teaming up with leading promoters and labels to host parties throughout the week including Rinse FM, Tweakaholic, Ibiza Rocks, prosRegression sessions, Hospitality Records, Percolate, Shorebitch and We Are Rockstars (W.A.R).

Also bringing their parties to the alps are Applebum, Rum and Bass, Triple Cooked, Shorebitch, Cirque Du Soul, Apex and Ibiza Rocks the Snow plus more.

The resort

Les Deux Alpes is a ski resort in the French Isère département. The village sits at 1,650 m (5,413 ft) and lifts run to 3,600 m (11,811 ft). It has the largest skiable glacier in Europe and is France's second oldest ski resort behind Chamonix, where the largest mountain in western Europe is located, Mont Blanc. It has the longest, normally open full on-piste vertical available in the world. It is a 71 km (44 mi) drive southeast of Grenoble.

The resort offers snow, alpine air and 225 km of ski runs, south facing views, 50 hotels and hostels, bars, restaurants, swimming pools and cinemas.

Expect speed dating between ski runs, a campfire around which you can toast marsh -mallows, a hot tub cabin, a Yeti’s Cabin to enjoy some mulled wine or hot chocolate, woodlands in which to wander, a winter beach party in the mountains, an ice disco, a huge cinema screen, a Snowmageddon Arena for full on snow based warfare, a memory pod for photo ops, club nights in the mountains and even snow sculpture competitions and ski, snowboard and skidoo tournaments.
