Boardmasters takes place over five days from Wednesday 8th to Sunday 12th August 2018 at a cliff-top location overlooking Watergate Bay, and Fistral Beach.

Boardmasters is held on two sites near Newquay offering action sports including surf, skate, bmx, plus daily live music acts and the music festival.

Line-up

Confirmed acts include the headliners Catfish & The Bottlemen, Chemical Brothers, and George Ezra, along with Annie Mac, Craig David's TS5, Miles Kane, Feeder, Fat Freddy's Drop, Kano, Rag 'N' Bone Man, Years & Years, MK, Everything Everything, Disciples (live), Kele Okereke, Friendly Fires, RAYE, Grandmaster Flash. The Horrors, Declan McKenna, Songhoy Blues, Lily Allen, and more.

The festival offers five days of surf competition at Fistral Beach and a weekend of live music on the stunning headland, Watergate Bay.

World Surf League

The surf competition will this year be included as part of the World Surf League qualifying series. Featuring as a Qualifying Series event, Boardmasters will host the Boardmasters international competitors for the Men’s Open, the Boardmasters Women’s Open and the Boardmasters Men’s and Women’s Longboard contests.

Camping

Official festival camping is situated within throwing distance of the Watergate Bay site.
