Disabled info

Festival Republic produces a guide to Disabled Access and Facilities for all it's festivals, which includes details of the 2-for-1 ticket scheme. Please request a booklet and application form on 020 8961 5490. All application forms must be submitted by Friday 24th July 2009.

New Conditions for 2010

No aerosols (over 250ml) or gas canisters this year. Those wanting to cook need to bring disposable BBQs, trangias or solid fuel stoves. Anyone seen with canisters or cylinders will be ejected from site. The caravan and campervan ticket holders in white campervan field only will be permitted to bring in gas containers up to the limit of 3kg.

This year only small, clean, campfires only are allowed in the campsites they must be kept below knee height and less than one pace wide. They will be monitored and extinguished if otherwise. A new policy this year means that ALL campfires will be extinguished after 8pm on Sunday. There will be a firewood trader onsite to buy clean wood for your small campfires - clean firewood will be on sale until 6pm Sunday evening.

This year there will be a Sunday Pass-out System. There will be no re-entry to the festival after 8pm unless you collect a pass-out on your way out of the festival.

On Sunday, the amount of alcohol allowed to be brought into the campsite will be a maximum of two cases per person until 6pm, and then after 6pm, alcohol will not be allowed through the entrance gates at all.

There will be an increase in Police and Security in the campsites. There will be an onsite Police Station at Piccadilly Circus open from Wednesday. The Information Tent will be located at road G4 and a second one will be in the arena in between the Alternative and Festival Republic stages.

Once again this year no flags will be allowed to be taken into the festival arena, as they obstruct the view of people behind.

Campsite

There will be an on site supermarket can be found near the arena entrance in the Village. It will sell convenience foods, snacks, pies/pasties, chilled drinks, fresh daily bread and milk, newspapers, beer/lager/cider, toiletries, pharmacy, general grocery, fresh sliced meats, bacon, sausage, butter and cheeses, deli counter, and cigarettes. The supermarket will offer a card payment facility (minimum purchase £5) with cashback. Other on site facilities include: Bars, Cash Points, First Aid & Paramedics, Food & Non Food Stalls, Information.

More information will be here when available.
