I was not intending to see this lot but as the band I was seeing were awful I head for the Carling stage and discover Switches. I’m glad I do the crowd are still but intently listening to their clean guitar driven rock.

They play, they tell us, songs from the EP Message To Yuz and 'Joysticks' is the best track apart from their final number the title track which has the whole crowd clapping along. They show their skills with energetic guitar riffs and singer and guitarist Matt Bishop is going to put his hometown of Southend on the map with their up tempo harmonies and beat music.

Keep a look out for their debut album if it’s like this performance it’ll be big and bouncy.
