Reading Festival 2005 review Wed 31st Aug 05 Their self titled debut album is quite enjoyable, so I’m quite looking forward to this. However the tent isn’t very full and I’m a bit surprised. But they are noisy and enjoyable and pack the songs into their short set. The four piece have bundles of energy kicking off with ‘Lackey’ and singer Dominic Masters likes to worry the security by getting down into the crowd. Their music is nothing new and similar to The Libertines but it’s punky and ‘This is For the Poor’ and ‘Probate’ are the last tracks and the best. Clearly a band used to playing live and with some very loyal fans but judging by the turn out they aren’t destined for bigger things, shame. review by Scott Williams
