This is something different two women and two men and a pounding beat that’s bass and drum driven with traditional foot stomping beats and plenty of well written words. With a slightly dirty country music feel. They swap duties of bass playing between the two girls and one dons an electric mandolin.

It’s foot stomping music with a /gothic Siouxie like vocal it reminds me of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds a lot which is no bad thing. It’s energetic and spiky and wonderfully delivered. The rhythms sound at times like traditionally Scottish folk but it’s masked and fuzzed up. Wonderful stuff and their album ‘The Repulsion List’ is now top of my list to buy and had a great time leaping about to them.
