Ragged Hedge Fair 2006

After 10 long years the legendary Ragged Hedge Fair is back. This country fair with a difference is to be held on a scenic site not far from The Organic Farm Shop near Cirencester. It aims to be a small ecologically-orientated family event and includes camping, arts, crafts, environmental education, theatre, and music from various bands such as The Egg and Kangeroo Moon. There will be no generators on site, and all power will be provided by the wind and sun. Guest speakers will attend an eco-forum to debate a wide range of topics (including the Elm Farm Research Centre's Director, Lawrence Woodward, on Sunday 3rd September). There will also be a large Children's Area, a Youth Tent, a Crafts Area for hands on experience, healers, unusual stalls to shop at, and organic food and drink.

CAMPING
Camping is on the festival site with car parking in an adjoining field. There are compost and portaloo toilets and cold water on tap for drinking and washing.

TICKETS + OTHER INFO
The gates open at 10am on Friday and close at 8pm each evening. Tickets are available in advance from the Organic Farm Shop right up until 1st September but the last ticket mail-out will be on August 21st. Day tickets are subject to availability. NO DOGS ALLOWED BECAUSE OF SHEEP GRAZING NEARBY.
