BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend is a music festival run by BBC Radio 1, who will hold their annual free music festival at Burton Constable Hall in Hull. This year the free festival will take place over two days from Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May 2017.

This event is run in a different location within the United Kingdom each time. It is the biggest free live music event in the UK and always includes a host of new artists.

Line-up

Acts confirmed so far include Kings of Leon, Katy Perry, Alt-J, Biffy Clyro, Stormzy, Royal Blood and many more. For a full list of acts including day and stage splits please see the line-up page.

Tickets

The details of how to get tickets will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Tickets are free and obtained through a lottery. There is no charge for the concert itself, but a handling fee per ticket will be applied to help cover all associated ticket handling costs. The majority of the tickets for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2017 will be allocated to people living in the local area.

A non-refundable event admin fee is applied to cover ticket handling, postage and other event administration costs.

There is no charge for the event itself.
