BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend is a music festival run by BBC Radio 1, who will hold their annual free music festival in Ebrington Square, Londonderry, in Northern Ireland last visited in 2004. This year the free festival will take place over three days from Friday 24th until Sunday 26th May 2013.

This event is run in a different location within the United Kingdom each time. It is the biggest free live music event in the UK and always includes a host of new artists.

Line-up

Tickets

Tickets have sold out, they were free and were obtained through a lottery. There is no charge for the concert itself, but a handling fee per ticket will be applied to help cover all associated ticket handling costs. The majority of the tickets for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2013 were allocated to people living in Londonderry and the surrounding boroughs.
