This festival has been running since 1985 in Belgium, and after various location changes has settled on the site of Kempische Steenweg in Kiewit, Hasselt. Included in the ticket price of 113 euros for a weekend ticket is camping and free bus and train travel around Belgium. There are day tickets available for 57-60 euros.

Bands confirmed for this year are Radiohead, Massive Attack, Beck, Placebo as well as an extensive line-up with a broad range of acts. The official website can be found at; www.pukkelpop.be

The campsite is open from 12 noon Wednesday 16 August, and needs to be cleared by 11am Sunday 20 August. Campervans and motorhomes are not allowed this year due to lack of space. A main road separates the arena and the campsite, like Rock Am Ring, so take extra care when crossing, especially after a good days slog at the bar!
