Pinkpop Festival is an annual rock festival held in the city of Landgraaf, 134 miles from Amsterdam, near the city of Heerlen and situated in the most South bound province of Limburg, Netherlands. It is held annually on the Whitsun weekend (Pinksteren in Dutch, hence the name).

Now in its 38th year the festival has a capacity of 60,000 and three days of music on three stages.

The three headline acts have been confirmed for 2008 Metallica, Foo Fighters and Rage Against the Machine. Nearly 40 acts have been announced and include Incubus, Flogging Molly, Alter Bridge, Kaiser Chiefs, Editors, KT Tunstall, The Verve, Queens of the Stone Age, Racoon, Counting Crows, Serj Tankian, The Hives, and The Cavalera Conspiracy, Alanis Morissette, Stereophonics, Voicst, and Jonathan Davis. There are various festival camp-sites near the arena which have toilets, hot showers, supermarkets, Information points, a camping store, a First Aid stand, cash registers and food & drink available.

Tickets for PinkPop have sold out. These were priced at: 3-days including camping (only tents no vehicles): 129 euro. Day tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday were priced at 69 euro.
