The River Stage Festival returns to The National Theatre at South Bank from Friday 28th July to Monday 28th August. There will be a huge range of events, including weekend takeovers by The Glory, HOME Manchester, WOMAD, Rambert and The National Theatre.
Line-up
Friday 28th - Sunday 30th July: The Glory takeover. Musical acts will include:- Luxury Hell, The Unholy Hour, Lipsync 1000 Allstars, LOVE INN, Figs in Wigs, Grizzle go ABBA.
Friday 4th - Sunday 6th August: HOME Manchester takeover. Musical acts will include:- Bourgeois & Maurice, Dave Haslam, The Jukeboxes, The Beat Chics, Pen:Chant, We are Ian, Celluloid Histoy Songs, Mr Wilson's Second Linders, Boy Blue Entertainment.
Friday 11th - Sunday 13th August: WOMAD takeover. Musical acts will include:- Afro Cluster, Mr Benn, Msafiri Zawose, AKA George, The Bollywood Brass Band, Gypsy Hill, DJ - Movimientos, Amira Kheir, Soothsayers.
Friday 18th - Sunday 20th August: Rambert takeover. Musical acts will include:- A Linha Curva, Quicksilver, Ghost Dances, Nia Lynn.
Friday 25th - Monday 28th August: WOMAD takeover. Musical acts will include:- Hackney Colliery Band, Amy Lame, The Fontanelles, Dom Search, Mrs H and the Sing-along Band, Tavaziva, Nerija.
