THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Organisers have officially cancelled this event, saying, "It is with regret we have to inform you that Sound On Festival will not take place on 13-14 August this year. This is due to the license application being rejected by Thurrock Council. Thurrock council had previously issued us a license for 15,000 people and when we changed the dates they asked us to re-apply. We re-applied with twice the documentation submitted for the granted license and they decided to oppose the event this time round. We are in the High Court on the 27th July to fight this as we have spent hundreds of thousands of pounds planning the event and securing a great line up for a year 1 show.

All tickets from Resident Advisor and Seetickets should have now been refunded, if you purchased through Paypal you need to request a refund and we will approve from our end.

We will not give up the fight against Thurrock council and we will let you know the result from the High Court on the 27th July and the new date for the event.

Sound On Management Team."
