The inaugural Ribbon Rhythm Festival will provide a weekend of music in aid of a good cause in the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th February 2011.

The 2011 festival will raise much-needed funds for the Donegal Autism Parent's Support Group and to increase awareness of its work in the county.

Line-up

Saturday's line-up includes Aslan, Henry McCullough, Grianne Duffy, Lee Headley, Mirenda Rosenberg Band, The Gandhis, Pontiax, Seven Days, and Mark Black.

On Sunday, The Miami Showband, Mary Coughlan, Johnny Duhan, The Henry Girls, Fil Campbell, Lou McMahon and The Mudskippers will take to the stage.

More acts are being added to the line-up all the time. There will also be free live music taking place in the Front Bar of the Mount Errigal on both Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets

A weekend ticket is priced at 80 euros, a Saturday day ticket is priced at 50 euros, with a Sunday day ticket priced at 35 euros. To buy tickets, click here.

This family-friendly event will also provide plenty of complimentary entertainment with a range of indoor children's activities, including a children's disco, art workshops. The organisers plan to offer a number of other festival activities and to have various vendors operating on site.

Charity

The Ribbon Rhythm Festival has been created to support a different Donegal charity each year and raise awareness of their work within the county. It also aims to provide a boost to the local economy in the process by providing jobs and attracting people to the region.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
