Middlesbrough Folk Festival is a new two folk festival which takes place at Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art, and The Cleveland Trade Union Centre, on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd April 2011.

Line-up

Teesside Folk Legend Richard Grainger brings folk and roots music to Middlesbrough audiences with guest artists including Stormcrow, Steve Turner, Steve Dawes & Helen Pitt, Sara Dennis, Fools Gold, The Moorlanders, Penni Mclaren Walker, Blue Sun, Blind Panic, Chris Milner, Bob Fortune and more.

Tickets

Tickets are available at the door for all the gigs.

The opening concert takes place at the Mima on Friday at 7.30 pm. The following evening at 7.30pm there will be a folk club session at The Cleveland Trade Union Centre and a chance to join in at The Open Mic Session at Middlesbrough Music Centre that afternoon at 2pm.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
