The Viewpoint Sessions take place at Kelburn Castle and park, near Largs on Scotland's West coast on Saturday 8th May and Saturday 5th June 2010.

Sheltered by a forest canopy and overlooking a river gorge to the world famous Graffiti Project that adorns Kelburn Castle, The Viewpoint Sessions are one night al fresco club nights for up to 400 people, that boast possibly the best small outdoor venue in the country.

The programming includes up-and-coming acts alongside established local and international performers.

The Sessions present DJs and live music alongside bespoke lighting installations, top quality sound production, barrel fires, lanterns and visuals. The organisers aim in the future to build the events up to an exclusive, sought-after monthly happening throughout the summer months with a capacity of 500 people maximum.

The site

The Garden Party is taking place in the grounds of the Kelburn Castle near Largs (40mins from Glasgow, 90mins from Edinburgh), known around the world as the site of the Graffiti Project. There will be a cocktail bar with a second PA, free camping, live visuals, acoustic campfire action and much more. These al-fresco clubnights are fully licensed, ticketed and secured. The event starts at 12pm (music starts at 7pm). Kelburn Country Park open to guests. Food/drink is available all day.

Travel

The festival site is very easy to reach. Trains go to Largs from Glasgow on a regular basis, and from Largs it is a very short and cheap taxi ride. For those coming from further afield cheap flights to Glasgow Prestwick are available at Ryanair. You can get to Largs by train or bus from the airport (around 1 hour journey). Cheap advace train tickets are available now for travel to Glasgow from around the UK. More info will be available on the website soon.
