Football Fusion Festival has been postponed until May 2011. Organisers would like to make it clear that the event is not cancelled; merely postponed until next year.

2010 Football Fusion Festival is a three-day festival celebration of football and music held from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th August 2010 at Chapelgate, Bournemouth.

Line-up

Acts confirmed include The Enemy, The Hoosiers, Example, Ms Dynamite, Kid British and Boney M. There are many more bands and DJs to be announced in the coming weeks. Names from the world of football include Matt Le Tissier, Jamie Redknapp, and Sir Geoff Hurst. In addition, Radio DJ's Chappers and Comedy Dave will be providing comedy banter and music in the beer tent as well as hosting the football tournament.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £85, a student weekend ticket is priced at £75, a teen (aged 10-17 years) weekend ticket is priced at £40, a child (aged 6-9 years) weekend ticket is priced at £15, with under 5's able to attend free.

Six-a-side

The family event will also be running a national six-a-side tournament for all ages, with 360 teams expected to compete over the three days.

Celebrity corner

Fans can get the chance to meet current Premier League players, and football stars, including 1966 World Cup legends Sir Geoff Hurst, Jack Charlton and Nobby Stiles in the Celebrity Corner.

Training sessions

Professional coaches from the David Beckham Academy will also be on hand to put players through their paces and provide interactive training sessions, sharing their expert training tips and tactics. There will also be Skills Zone - Including crossbar challenge and speed trials.

Other attractions

Other attractions will include a celebrity tournament organised by Matt Le Tissier, presenter Richard Keys hosting the events and interviews throughout the festival, and Dermot Gallagher who will be on hand to oversee the six-a-side tournament as Head Referee and tournament official.

Wag-Wam

For the ladies there's the 'Wag-Wam' a special retreat where guests can enjoy a glass of champagne, be royally pampered and receive top styling and fashion tips from the professionals in the lifestyle spa.

Julie Cook, Managing Director of Football Fusion says, "The idea has always been to create an event that would appeal to the whole family and the combination of football and music was a natural choice for us. I'm pleased to say that the festival is growing on a daily basis and we are talking to a number of top footballers and world-class music acts. On top of that, we have a great selection of events and activities which people can get involved with: the football tournament, the footballer 'Meet & Greet' area, the Wag-Wam and of course the brilliant atmosphere."

For small children there will be the Kiddies Kingdom which will provide fun and entertainment.

Camping

The festival will have facilities for 3,000+ campers.
