Organisers are hoping to hold the event in 2011.

The Bards Party is a new family friendly music and arts festival for 2-2,500 people which takes place from Friday 20th until Sunday 22nd August 2010 at Stratford Upon Avon, in Warwickshire.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for this event. The festival will be be championing new and unsigned talent at the festival, alongside more established acts, and will be non genre specific.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are available until March 15th(or sooner if sold out). An adult weekend ticket is priced at £45 (full price £60), a youth (aged 13-17 years) weekend ticket is priced at £30 (full price £45), a child (aged 6-12 years) weekend ticket is priced at £18 (full price £25) and under 5s can attend for free. Camping

Camping is included in the ticket price and adjacent to main camping area will be a dedicated family camping area.

Around the site

Set on a picturesque 86 acre former farm site 3 miles from Stratford Upon Avon town centre the event will have 2 music stages, a comedy tent, kids area (including a Play Barn ), on-site restaurant, local ales & beers, local food, on-site camping, and nice toilets.

Ethos

The festival will try to bring as many local businesses, community groups, artists and producers into the festival. This way they reduce their carbon footprint and promote local sustainability with a non-corporate stance.

Parking

Parking is priced at £5, and there is also a small charge for leaving the site during the festival of £2 to try and keep congestion down.

Getting there

The event is tree miles from the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, and four minutes from Junction 15 of the M40. The nearest train station is Stratford On Avon.
