North By Northwest Festival is in its first year and takes place over three days from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th May in Blackpool town centre and all the venues are within 5 minutes walk from each other. Basically, it's 3 days, 4 venues, 6 stages and over 90 bands.

The bands confirmed so far are:
Friday: 2 Complex, Daniel Cross, Ego Musto, Faker Junior, Gaia, Goonies Never Say Die, Jackpot Golden Boys, Katie Leigh, Ladders, Litterbug, Mark Richards, Mudjack, Myth Of Unity, Ric & Pudz, Sean Hanford, Smudge, The Locals, The Medicine, The Silvertones, The Valvetronics, UFX, and Yes Sensei.
Saturday: 2056^, AliSandra Bennett, CoConi, Dan Wilde, Driftrun, Elohymn, Empty Headed Heroes, Flags of the Soviet Republic, Geek Girl, Glove Puppets, Glynn Bailey, Hot Rod, How's My Pop?, Jo Byrne, Kaseno, Lupa Tom, Matt Tiller, Metonia, Mr & Mrs Band, North of Watford, One Chip Potato, Poetic Reasons, Ruth E. The bands playing are a mix of local bands and national acts.

The cost of the festival is £2 per day which gets you into all 4 venues or there will also be selling advance weekend wrist bands at a price of £5 from March. The 'all ages' venue will be £4 for a weekend wrist band.

The venues for the festival will be the Blue Room with a full band stage and an acoustic stage, West Coast Rock Cafe for full bands, Beat Nightclub which will be an 'all ages' venue between midday and and 6pm (and over 18's only after 6pm) on the Saturday and the Sunday and the last confirmed Venue is Connollys Bar on Topping street where full bands will be playing upstairs and probably another acoustic stage downstairs.

Note this is a no camping event, there are plenty of accommodation options in Blackpool.
