Dragongate Music Festival, takes place from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th September 2009, at Otley Farm in Harrogate, in North Yorkshire.

Dragongate is a live music festival featuring local bands (and some not so local). With Thornborough Festival no longer happening (not this year at least), some of the Harrogate crew have got together to put on an event to fill the gap in the calendar.

The Black Dragon Stage line-up includes Paul Middleton, The Birdman, Rallies, Tunji, Celt Islam, The North, Knievel, Calls And Sirens, Fuck With Fire, Book Of Job, Nihilist, Scapegoat Kelly, Drowned In Flames, Pseudo Nympho, Idle Maestro, Jungian Drift, Tda, Open, Hayashi (T.B.C.), Kasiuss, Waking Theo (T.B.C.), Maximum Danger Project (T.B.C), Lobo, and many more to be confirmed.

Powered by both the wind and sun, The Green Dragon Café And Kid's Space sees acoustic performances from Ben Wetherill And His Band, Karl Culley, Danny Webster (Birdman Rallies), Leo Brazil And His Twitch, Nick Mackay, Jonny Turpentine, Will Gray (Ex Smokestacks), Becky Mills (Ex Waking The Witch), Acoustalypse Now, Angeline Bjerregaad, Becky Cherriman (Frayed Edges), Miranda Verses The Croc, John Harrison And The Purple Mushrooms, John Davey, Adam Westerman, and Mark Ellis.

The Blue Dragon Bar will have a line-up programmed by Oxjam and The Blues Bar, as well as real local ale at £2 a pint.

Oblivion Pavilion will have a line-up of psychedelic trance, and chill out music.

The focus for this year's festival is music, art and theatre including fringe performances and artists performing and creating installations during the course of the festival.

Tickets are priced at £45 for an adult ticket, £20 for a teenager (aged 10-17), and under 10s go free (no more than 2 under 10s per responsible adult).

There will be food and alcohol available on site, as well as a kid's space and activities, but children will remain the responsibility of their parents.

Camping on site is included in the ticket price. Camp fires will not be allowed other than at official locations. People with Camper vans will stay in the parking field but will be placed in a camper van area (assuming the allocated space is not filled). A family camping area is available.

1/3 of the profits from the festival go to Oxjam and the festival is stewarded by Oxjam volunteers.

More information will be here when available.
