The Cropton Folk n Roots Festival has been cancelled. A decision was made last week in view of the low ticket sales and poor weather forecast. All ticket holders are being refunded. A similar event is planned for next year.

Cropton Folk and Roots Festival is a new festival taking place at Cropton in North Yorkshire from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th August.

The line-up includes The Cut Offs, Richard Grainger, Brother Crow,The Arrowsmiths and Joolz Cavell , Anna Shannon, Dave Crabtree, String Theory, Dawes & Pitt, Graham Brotton, Wendy Arrowsmith,Bob Fortune,Landermason, Stormcrow, Penni McLaren Walker, Roscoe La Belle, Glyn Cavell, Emma Forman, Shirley Higton, Ethan Thomas, The Grrovediggers (tbc) and more.

The festival site is set in the grounds of the Cropton Brewery, and offers an indoor acoustic stage, an outdoor stage, sessions, and a craft fair set in an orchard. There'll be refreshments, food and a range of Cropton Real Ales. Camping is available on - site and there are B&B's and Hotels close by.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £20, a weekend child ticket (aged 6-16) is priced at £10, children aged 5 and under have free entry. Camping is an additional £5. There are also day tickets available. To purchase tickets click here or telephone 01287 660965.
