last updated : Thu 17th Jul 08 Liverpool Working Class Music Festival 2008 takes place from Friday 19th September to Sunday 21st September 2008 at The New Picket in Liverpool. Billed as a musical celebration of the experiences of working people, it is part of the TUC's contribution to Liverpool's Capital of Culture celebrations. The line-up features on Friday from 7pm - Dick Gaughan, Leon Rosselson, Attila The Stockbroker, Alun Parry (acoustic), and Young Kof. Saturday from 8pm - The Men They Couldn't Hang, The Alun Parry Band, Aidan Jolly Band, and Claire Mooney. Sunday from 7pm - Roy Bailey, Robb Johnson, Tracey Curtis, Chanje Kunda, and Al Baker. Tickets are priced at £25 for a weekend ticket, £12 for Saturday, or £10 for either Friday or Sunday. To buy tickets, click here.
