The Mighty Boosh Festival is a new festival being held at The Hop Farm, Kent on Saturday 5th July the gates at 2pm and the event starts at 3pm.

The comedy duo from the TV series The Mighty Boosh, Noel Fielding and Julian Barrett will be putting on this festival inviting their friends, comedians and bands to provide the entertainment. The Charlatans, Gary Numan, White Denim, The Kills, Peaches (DJ Set), and Polar Bear plus The Boosh Band will be headlining the festival.

The duo have named the comedy tent for the inaugural festival 'The Velvet Onion'. The comedy line-up features Ross Noble, Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle, Arj Barker (Flight Of The Conchords), Josie Long, Mark Watson, Matthew Holness (Garth Marenghi), Milton Jones, Wil Hodgson, Tom Basden, Pappy's Fun Club, David O'Doherty, Simon Munnery, Andrew Lawrence, Dan Clark, Robin Ince (The Book Club), Arnab Chanda, Paul Foot, and Greg Fleet.

All the usual Boosh characters will be present; Naboo, Bollo and Bob Fossil take to the stage with Howard and Vince. The Boosh Band will headline the Monkey Hell stage, giving us an eclectic mix of exclusive live music and specially written comedy material, including not too be missed, never to be witnessed again specials like a dance off between Har Mar Super Star and Bob Fossil.

Also on site will be Howard Moon's Jazz Spectacle, face painting in Vince Noir's Electro Tent, merchandise available at Nabootique, and a bouncy castle for the kids. Also if you come dressed as you favourite character you can text your photo in and it will appear on the massive stage screens, from which Noel and Julian will choose a winner.

Tickets for the festival are priced at £50 and can be purchased by clicking here. Children 12 and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets will also be available to buy on the day at the gate.

The festival has a capacity of 30,000. Food and Bottled Water allowed on site. No Glass Bottles or Cans. Gates open at 12pm (Expected curfew is 11:15pm). No Camping.
