On Saturday 24th May the inaugural Breastival takes place, transforming a sunny
corner of Farringdon into a bank holiday all-day festival. Armed with craft kits, pop quizzes, loads of bands, DJs and even Eurovision. The festival, organised by Piney Gir, takes place over three floors and an outside area at Betsy Trotwood and is to support Breast Cancer Care and Research.
Entertainment will come from Harvey Half Devoured (Bod from Fonda 500), Ginger Tom, Betty And The Werewolves, and Piney Gir himself performing an Age of Reason set.
there will also be DJs including Delia Dansette, Jonny Trunk, and the Sylvia Plath Charm School.
Tickets are priced at £5 with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care.
Festival goers can also expect a bra designing craft stall where visitors can get help creating their own dream bra, The Moshi Moshi Pop Quiz, and the Eurovision show will be shown on TVs. There will also be picnics available.
