Beachdown Festival will set up camp on the outskirts of Brighton, set on the South Downs in East Sussex, this August Bank Holiday, from Friday 22nd – Monday 25th August.
The line-up includes Jose Gonzalez, Nouvelle Vague, Fun Loving Criminals, Alabama 3, The Maccabees, De La Soul, Lightspeed Champion, Reverend and the Makers, Terry Callier, Roy Ayers, Infadels, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Russ Dewbury, Bah Samba, Azymuth, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jah Wobble All-stars, Amp Fiddler, Young knives

The DJline-up includes Special Disco Version feat Pat Mahoney DJ Set (LCD Soundsystem), Don Letts, Jonny Rocks, Wayne Hemingway, The Disco Shed, Mr Scruff, Born Bad feat Andy Weatherall, Kidda, Terry Hall, Weirdo Police, Soft Rocks feat Kathy Diamond, Jonny Reggae, Fear of Music Radio presents 20 years of Acid House with Nick the Record & Darren Murphy, Top 100 Ice Cream Van, The Glitter Sisters, Martinis & Bikinis Tent hosted by Fake Bush & Boogaloo Stu, and The Kleptones.
The best of Brighton club nights include Stick it On, Russ Dewbury's Jazz Bop, Bust the Box, Roots Garden feat Kenny Knots & Manasseh plus MC Brother Culture & Leroy Horns on Sax.
A full weekend pass is priced at £85, to buy tickets click here. Camping facilities will be available and shuttle buses running every hour running from Brighton to the festival site and back from 10am until 1am which means all local festival goers should leave their cars at home.
The parking facilities will be located off site, so as not to disturb or damage the natural environment of the south downs. Car parks will be utilised at the nearby Hickstead Showground and at Shoreham Airport, where buses will ferry festival goers from their car directly to the camp site.
The food stalls on site will offer locally sourced and organic menus, some provided by local brand name restaurants. The event is also aiming to be carbon neutral.
Beachdown are providing a dedicated family camping area located around 300 metres from the car park / bus drop off point adjacent to which is the Childrens Entertainment Area where in addition to traditional entertainment such as puppetry, bouncy castles, ball pond, carousel and coconut shy there will be organised soft-play assault courses, Arabian Adventures and beach-themed activities on offer.
