Access Festival is a FREE festival now in its 5th year and is held at Mayflower Park, Southampton on Saturday 21st June and organisers expect a turnout of around 7000 people to attend.

Access Festival's aim is to raise funds for the city's homeless community; although they maintain their commitment to being a free festival they are asking all those who can afford it to make a donation of £2 on the gate.

This year's festival will have music on offer from local bands on The Main Stage, no acts have been confirmed yet. Plus The Hobbit Tent which will offer a range of Acoustic, Folk and alternative bands and solo artists. There will be a Dance Tent featuring DJs, and The Soul Cellar Tent offering something a little different with the likes of Latin, Jazz, Funk and urban music.

Plus the festival will have The Arts Tent offering solo artists, jam sessions and comedy courtesy of Short Circuit all in an art gallery environment. There will be a beer tent, and catering units offering a range of festival fare.
