2007 is the 19th year of the Hastings Free Beach Concert which takes place on 4th and 5th August 2007.

The free live music spectacular is held on the beach in Hastings, East Sussex, and aims to raise money for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).

The events acts as a showcase for a wide cross-section of bands currently playing on the Hastings music scene. Each year, this two-day concert proves popular with local people and visitors alike.

Music takes place from 2pm until 8pm on Saturday, and from 2pm until 7pm on Sunday. This year, with DJ Funky Grooves on both days, the line-up is as follows:
SATURDAY:
Mushty; Lucky Strike; Noise Pilots; King Size Slim; and The Quikening.
SUNDAY:
Maid of Ace, Nazarenes; The Dawgs; and The Blues Brothers Show.

Toilets are nearby in the Stade Car Park. There is an on-site licenced bar, plus food outlets and ice-cream van, free suncream and a free supervised children's play area with the 'HBC playworkers' and 'Tara's Pots of Play'.

Although this is a 2 day event, overnight camping on the beach is not allowed.

The concert site must be vacated at the end of the concert.
