Girls Got The Blues is a brand new one day Music Festival to be held in Manchester, England on 6th May 2007 celebrating the best in Female fronted bands with an emphasis, but not exclusively, on blues based music. This is the first event of it's type to be held in Manchester, possibly the first in the UK.

Girls Got The Blues aims to highlight and showcase the current plethora of girls picking up guitars and rediscovering the musical heritage that is the Blues, whether it be in the style of the Delta or more of a Stevie Ray Vaughan vibe, and following right the way through to Country blues. The organisers are hoping this will become an annual event.

The published line-up includes the following musicians: Holly Golightly and the Brokeoffs; Ebony Bones; Joanne Shaw Taylor; Dani Wilde; The Neutrinos; Geekgirl; The Smears: Bex Marshall; Liz Green; Congregation; Rosie Lugosi; Toby; and Hilda.
