2nd August
The Fflam press office has issued the following statement:-
"It is with great regret that we confirm the cancellation of the Fflam Festival for 2007. After the initial postponement due to torrential weather conditions, we have made every possible effort to try and secure a new date for the festival this summer. Unfortunately, we cannot find a date that suits all parties and due to artist availability, we are not in a position to deliver the brilliant line up of bands we always intended if we go ahead. At this stage, we are left with no option but to cancel the festival for 2007 and put all our efforts into making it a huge success in 2008. We would like to thank all the people in the local community who have stuck by us and supported us throughout the past couple of months. For those who bought tickets, full refunds will be available from point of purchase."

Fflam has been 'postponed' until 'the end of the summer', due to 'bad weather conditions'. For more details, please see the statement from the organisers here.

====================

Fflam is taken from the Welsh word for flame, and is a new 3 day festival.

With a capacity will be 30,000 per day, expect a line-up with Welsh, UK and international artists, with a focus on indie, rock and dance music over multiple stages, plus Lost Vagueness.

Confirmed acts include headliners Keane, Placebo, and Manic Street Preachers, plus Feeder, Levellers, and Enter Shakiri - for the details to-date including day and stage splits, click here.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £100 for the weekend or £40 for any day - click here to buy.

Please note that due to licensing restrictions camping tickets are no longer available.

For those people who have purchased Friday day tickets and wish to exchange for the Sunday, this option will be available form the point of purchase. A full refund will also be available.

There'll be more information here when available.
