last updated : Fri 29th Jun 07 With musical entertainment on five stages plus a Teen Tent showcasing young bands, and lots of festival peripherals throughout the day, this festival aims to be a community family event with a wide variety of bands. There's a Main Stage, an Acoustic Stage, and a Student Stage offering loads of performances from a wide variety of both local and national artists. This year's headliners have not yet been announced but plenty of local performers such as Supergene, Meinir Gwilym, Persona B, and Johnny Action Finger are expected to be playing. There will also be workshops, Ecozone, chill-out space, chai, and a Kid's Area as well as arts and crafts activities. CAMPING FREE camping will be allowed on both Friday and Saturday. The site of the Celtic Blue Rock Community Arts Festival is held, according to older maps, on the Maengwynhir mountain offering magnicient views of Pembrokeshire on a clear day. PLEASE NOTE: The organisers want to encourage car sharing, reduce road congestion and help the environment. Camping and entry to the Festival is FREE for all, BUT there is a £15 charge for vehicle parking for non-members and if you aren't a member, you might not get in if you don't have a ticket (which you get as a member). See the official Celtic Blue Rock website for details. All surpluses from the Festival will be donated to worthy community causes. No animals allowed on site.
