Summer Vibes 2006

Summer Vibes is a free music festival held at Luxford Field, Uxfield, East Sussex on Saturday 15th July.

There will be plenty of local talent ranging from folk to rock to blues and funk while DJ’s will be supplying the beats n grooves.

Acts already confirmed for the Main Stage are Mumrah, Chaos Days, Dani Wilde and 27 Groove, with more acts still to be confirmed.

The festival will also include Sky and African tents (decorated by local young artists)for a comfier and more ambient space, complete with art materials, board games, cafe and storytelling.

There will be picnic areas, an OpenArtSpace tent, food from around the world (including a South African BBQ and west African cuisine), info-Shops, craft stalls, circus activities, poi making, drumming and other creative workshops, graffiti wall, face-painting and capoeira displays.

Summer Vibes is a free event that the organisers intend to be enjoyed by all. Participation from everyone is encouraged, and Summer Vibes organisers are wholly encouraging people to bring their own ideas, workshops, art, music, paint, creativity and inspiration along with them, so everyone can share.
