The Summer Breeze Festival, organised by Farnham record label High Desert Music, takes place at the Farnham Maltings on Saturday 29th July.

The festival is headlined by Nizlopi. There will be 35 music acts and 12 stand-up comedians, plus various stalls, bars and fun activities. The whole of the Maltings has been hired out for the event, which will hold 1200 music and comedy fans throughout the day end evening.

Other acts confirmed to play include Six Nation State, Sequoia, Big Wednesday, Furthest Drive Home, Rob Reynolds, Twice Upon A Time, and WinterKids.

Festival organiser Andy Stedman, commented “To get a recent number one act to play in Farnham is an achievement in itself, so we’re really happy. Farnham’s not exactly on the music map and we want this to be an annual festival and add massively to the local scene. Most events in and around the town tend to be geared towards young families or over 45’s, and a lot of people outside those groups feel short-changed by the lack of entertainment on offer. Summer Breeze is for everyone who loves music and comedy, and I think it is going to be a fantastic day-long party.”

Alongside the 3 music stages, there is a stand-up comedy room run by Mirth Control which will be running throughout the day, and includes in its line-up some of the top comedians on London’s circuit. There will also be various stalls to visit and activities, including inflatable gladiator jousting.

High Desert Music are also running a competition for bands from colleges/schools to play the opening slot on the main stage.

Tickets are £20 on the day or £18 if bought in advance. To purchase tickets click here.
