The fourth annual Reggae Festival of Wales is being held to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the passing of Reggae legend Bob Marley. The event is now under the name 'Roots Reggae in the Park' and takes place on August 19th for one day only at the new venue of Singleton Park in Swansea.

Admission into the festival is £15 in advance (subject to booking fee) or £25 on the door. Tickets for the previously cancelled dates are still valid.

Celebrations will include live entertainment on stage with DJ Sounds, food and refreshments and Roots Reggae from 12 midday until 11 pm.

There will be car parking, children's play area, live roots music & roots'n'dub, licensed bar, security, roots day out, trade stalls, caribbean food, european food, vegetarian food, arts & crafts, soundsystems.

Acts confirmed include Colour Red, Ras Iple, Jah Miracle, Levi Roots, The Blackstones ( Tribute to Studio1), Iration Steppas, Aba Shanti, Word sound & Power, Jah Voice, and Ablewell Foundation.

kids up to 14 go FREE but must be accompanied by an adult.
