Make Poverty History - in a Field takes place on Saturday the 19th of August at Gilmorton Lodge Field, near Lutterworth in Leicestershire.

The independantly ran festival is in aid of the Make Poverty History campaign and is hoping to raise £5000 for Wateraid which would provide a community of 1000 with water and sanitation.

The entire proceeds of this event are going to charity and is being backed by local businesses including one of Leicester's top music venues - The Shed.

The bands have been gathered together from all across Leicestershire and further a field. Acts confirmed for the festival include local bands The Displacements, Ego-armalade, Dandilions, Rookies, Nemisto, Ceribus, Reborn and Glitch. Also confirmed are The Scrubs, Fruition and Darker the Day.
