last updated : Mon 8th Aug 05 The first Glebefest is set to take place on Sunday 28th & Monday 29th August 2005 in a 7.5 acre field in the grounds of Glebe Garden Centre in Countesthorpe, near Leicester, with live music & on-site activities. Confirmed acts include:- Sunday 28th Aug The Displacements, Rock Bottom, Dada Kings, The Rompers, Komatone, No Messin', Toy Heroes, Greg & Tonia Tempest. Sunday 28th Aug Ze Austrian Stones, Streetwise, Kalena, Beerdo's, Alternate Reality, Boston Divers, Steve Fearn, The Fearless Hiss & Boo Band. On site attractions include Billy Bates Fun Fair, and bouncy castles. On site food will include a hog roast, ice cream, burgers, chicken and vegetarian alternatives. Children under-12 are free with a ticketholding adult. Only one child permitted per adult. There's on-site parking (including a special disabled area), but no camping.
