One Love festival, happens from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August which is a full moon solar eclipse weekend during a Perseid meteor shower. These celestial events and the 30th Anniversary of the original One Love peace Concert in 1978 will be marked with this festival taking place at Isaac Newton's Observatory at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex.

This year's line up includes Reggae/Dub in the Saxon Sound Marquee with Trevor Sax, Muscle Head, Mikey Boops, and Mini Muscle.

The One Love Stage plays host to Smith and Mighty, Iration Steppas, Vibronics, Nick Manasseh, Earl Gateshead, Ava Leigh, Resonators, Ettin, Princess Jewels, Dan Wiltshire, Zachariah Walker, Miss Polly, Zimbaremabwe Mbira Vibes, Cry Tuff, Tim Rub a Dub, Samsara, The Leano, Iverse, White Noise, The Madame Project, Rebel Control, and Nesta Allen.

In the Lively up Yourself Marquee will be Robert Miles, Nicky Holloway, Rob Luis, Nostalgia 77 (DJ set), Tony Walker, Lol Hammond, Drum Monkeys, Toby Wiltshire, Paul Barkworth, Jack Thunder and Tappa Roots, Myles, Moose, Laura B, Dollboy, and Daft Pink Sound System.

The Nation Vibration Soundsystem will have Darren Vibes, Etherealites, Roots Garden Crew, Leroy Horns, Marky RDK & Hi Fi + Guest MC's and singers.

Bob Marley in an attempt to link Jamaica's feuding political parties symbolically joined the hands of bitter rivals Michael Manley and Edward Seaga on stage. His efforts on peace did not go unnoticed. Late in 1978 Bob Marley received the Peace Medal of the Third World from the United Nations. He was also declared Jamaica's "Man of the Millennium".

This 30th anniversary celebration will highlight this land mark occasion and the legendary artist while pushing the theme for Peace, acceptance, celebrating life, and multi-cultural diversity. The festival will have bands from musical genres such as reggae, dub, chill out, deep electronic, and indie.

Regular weekend tickets including camping Adults £70, Children (5-15) £30. Family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) £160.
Day tickets are priced at £25 Friday, Saturday and Sunday £30 for adults. Children day tickets are £15 Friday, Saturday and Sunday £20.

As well as live music, DJ's, and performance, expect audio visual displays, youth development projects, film, real ale, the treetop boulevard market, healing area, interactive art trail, Maypole dancers and chill-out areas, as well as a mysterious, hidden sound system dotted amongst the woodland, organic food, food from around the world, environment and green living, and community partnerships.
