Newcastle Community Green festival returns for it's 17th year and aims to offer positive solutions to environmental problems. The date for the festival has been announced as Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd June 2012.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012. The festival will have a number music stages with bands and DJs of all genres from around the area, plus entertainment, workshops, activities and music to suit all tastes and ages.

Aims

The festival's aim is to promote positive solutions to environmental problems and raise awareness of green and ethical issues, from mad-cap bike powered music stages to a solar powered cinema.
