Newcastle Community Green festival returns in 2010 and aims to offer positive solutions to environmental problems. The date for the festival has been announced as Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June 2010.

Line-up

Green World Stage

Lakeside Stage

Saturday: 27 Club, Dub Tek, The Crossings, Pikey Beatz, Kate Young.
Sunday: Diddley Squat, Hassle, Emperors Dentist, Mutandi, Cash Cows.

The festival will have a number music stages with bands and DJs of all genres from around the area, plus entertainment, workshops, activities and music to suit all tastes and ages.

Aims

The festival's aim is to promote positive solutions to environmental problems and raise awareness of green and ethical issues, from mad-cap bike powered music stages to a solar powered cinema.
