The 12th Nantwich Jazz, Blues & Music Festival takes place from Thursday, 20th March - Monday, 24th March 2008. Most events for this weekend festival take place at Nantwich Civic Hall, but there are other smaller gigs taking place at various venues, such as the Crown Hotel, the White Horse, the Red Cow, and McCormicks.

The following bands are playing at the Civic Hall: on Friday - The Hamsters, plus Flight 505 (£13 + £1.50 b/fee); on Saturday - The Big Chris Barber Band (£20 + £1.50 b/fee); on Sunday - The Sensational Alex Harvey Band (£15 + £1.50 b/fee); and on Monday - King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys plus Vavoom (£12.50 + £1.50 B/fee). There's also a showcase night with the Mez Fest at the Civic Hall on Thursday night (Tickets - £6 + b/fee) - over the age of 14 years only.

Other confirmed acts performing over the weekend include: The Ian Parker Band at the Crown Hotel on Friday, 21st March ((£12 + £1.50 B/fee); John Etheridge & Kit Holmes , also at the Crown Hotel, on Saturday, 22nd March (£12 + £1.50 B/fee); an afternoon with Nearly Dan at the Crown Hotel on Monday, 24th March (£12 + £1.50 B/fee).

There are over 90 different gigs taking place across the weekend, many of which are free, plus guitar master classes from John Etheridge, music from The South Cheshire George Formby Ukelele Society, and daily all day acoustic jazz & blues sessions. Other gigs are yet to be announced.
