A community festival, now in it's 29th year, run by volunteers, with folk, classical, world music, drama and performance, for children and adults. The festival will be taking place from Saturday 19th to Sunday 27th May 2012.

Line-up

Offering a varied programme of music, comedy and dance, designed to appeal to all the family. There is also a market and many other activities happening across the town, including our children's art activity in the Sub Rooms and a display from our young people's photographic competition in the Mortimer Room.

Saturday 19th May: An evening with Julie Felix, Town Hall 7:30pm £12 bar
Sunday 20th May: London Bulgarian Choir, St George's Church 6:00pm £10 bar
Monday 21st May: What happened when the Romans left? A talk by Professor Mark Horton Town Hall 7:30pm £5 bar from 7:00pm
Tuesday 22nd May: Richard Valentine Memorial Folk Concert, Martin Carthy Ruskin Mill 7:30pm (doors 7:00pm) £18 To book please contact Ruskin Mill 01453 837537.
Wednesday 23rd May: Festival Film: 'A Good Year' Nailsworth Primary School 7:30pm £6 bar from 7:00pm.
Thursday 24th May: Sponsored by Stag Developments, Brodsky Quartet- The Wheel of 4Tunes Christ Church 7:30pm £15 Refreshments available.
Friday 25th May: Bristol Old Vic Theatre School proudly presents 'Cold Comfort Farm' Town Hall 7:30pm £10 bar.
Saturday 26th May: Literary Lunch with Jamila Gavin, Horsley Church 1:00pm £10. The 3rd Nailsworth Poetry Slam Comrades Club 7:30pm £6 bar.
Sunday 27th May: Cream Tea Promenade Sub Rooms (formerly Boys' Club) 3:00-5:00pm .

Plus Walks, Exhibitions and Workshops . During Festival week numerous events will be taking place across Nailsworth.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
