A community festival, now in it's 27th year, run by volunteers, with folk, classical, world music, drama and performance, for children and adults.

Line-up

Acts for 2010 include Kasai Masai, The Finzi Quartet, Chris Wood, Bristol Gasworks Singers, Ruskin Mill Singers, Jax Dance, Stroud Samba Band, Frantix, Jazz, Jive, Swing, The Strollers, Silver Band, a Poetry Slam, and more.

The festival starts on Saturday with the theme of 'something for everyone' reflected in the programme of events and most events are FREE. There's the first Nailsworth Poetry Slam in Comrades Club. The evening is hosted by Marcus Moore and Sara-Jane Arbury.

The Festival is a week-long event and various musical and cultural events will take place throughout the week.

Other events

Other events include exhibitions such as artwork from a group of local women artists: Arabella Lewis, Jane Fisher, Imogen Harvey-Lewis, Penny Payne, Carolyn Galloway and The Woodchester Photography Group Exhibition. A storywalk along the beautiful Horsley valley, and a talk about The Challenges of Weather Forecasting with Richard Angwin. There's a couple of one-act plays, performed by the Nailsworth Dramatic Society, and a craft morning for all the family.

There should be something for everyone.
