MK4U '10

MK4U is a youth orientated festival, ran by young people, and aimed at young people.

The festival runs from Saturday 3rd until Sunday 4th July, starting at 2pm and coming to a close at 9pm on both days. The event promises a range of activities at Campbell Park in Central Milton Keynes.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2010.

It is expected that there will be four main Zones with local bands, DJs, Martials arts, free jazz, african drumming, indie, yoga, FX make-up Jamathon! Street dance, chill area, films, tea room, mini market, gallery, massive inflatables, giant slides for all ages, and lot and lots of audience participation.

Free event

The festival is FREE, and is supported the Parks Trust, the Milton Keynes Gallery and Play Association, MK Theatre, Stantonbury Campus, National Lottery MK College, and CMK Partnership.

Workshops

There will be workshops before the festival and the skills learned will be used during the festival itself; think face painting, circus skills, salsa etc.
