Maidstone Fringe Festival, now in its sixth year, takes place over multiple venues in Maidstone, Kent over 5 days from Thursday 27th April until Monday 1st May 2017. The majority of events are FREE, with some cover charge events.

What's on?

Focused predominately on music, but also including comedy & street entertainers, it has a wide mixture of music from rock, indie and pop-punk, through to acoustic and blues acts, ska and reggae, contemporary folk, funk, soul, dance and hip-hop. Though a large percentage of the acts are from the South East & Kent, they do welcome performers from across the UK.

Venues confirmed so far are: Albion; Bar 6; Drakes; Druids; Earls; The Flower Pot; Frédéric; Music Room - Pizza Express; The Social Chill Bar; Source Bar; Style And Winch; The Duke Of Marlborough; White Horse; The Stag.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Incorporated within the festival are a number of all-day events and dance all-nighters, as well as family friendly entertainment in Jubilee Square and cafes and coffee shops in the Town Centre, with much of the music being free to attend!
