The dates for Meltdown 2012 are confirmed to be from Wednesday 1st until Sunday 12th August 2012.

Each year MELTDOWN offers a guest director the chance to produce his or her own fantasy festival, mixing artists and art forms, reflecting their own personal passions and interests. The director for 2012 is Antony Hegarty, lead singer of the band Antony and the Johnsons.

Line-up

The latest acts Joan As Policewoman, Julia Kent, Matteah Baim, Yasmine, Jessica 6, Yoshito Ohno, Johanna Constantine, William Basinski, Matmos, oFF Love, Hercules and Love Affair, Antony Hegarty, John Grant, and Antony and the Johnsons themselves. Plus a talk titled Cleopatra - Not the Usual Passion Assigned to A Woman: A Tea with Janet Suzman + Kim Cattrall + Jude Kelly.
